The first stereographic images of the Holy Land appeared as early as the mid. 19th century.
Holy places and sites were photographed time and again in the following decades. The purpose of these 3D images was to express the actual experience of pilgrimage as closely as possible. Following footsteps of the 19th century photographers (see picture A and picture B) using modern technology, this unique series brings you a profound experience of a visual pilgrimage into Jerusalem and its Holy places. Two sets of twenty one photos each depict in 3D the Holy sites as well as scenes which express the unique spirit of Jerusalem reviving a century old photographic technique. They are presented here as aspecial gift to everyone who wants to keep the spirit of Jerusalem in his heart. The sets are accompanied by special 3D glasses.
